Future stars on success track

AFTER the success of the London 2012 Olympic bid, the country is now on the lookout for its next gold medallists.

Over the summer, Specialising in Sport is giving the chance for children throughout Coventry, Solihull, Birmingham and Warwickshire to take part and discover their talents in a variety of athletics events including pole vault, hammer, relays and triple jump.

Norwich Union Sta:track is a successful athletics scheme for eight to 15-year-olds that has been running across the country for many years under the jurisdiction of UK Athletics.

For the 11th successive year, Specialising in Sport is organising schemes across the area between 10 am and 3pm at Stratford Community Athletics Track between August 7 and 11.
