Plenty to smile about!

MORETON Rangers rounded off what, on the whole, has been a successful season with a resounding 4-1 victory over Gala Walton - a memorable match for a number of reasons.

Veteran Nigel Brooks played his 'last game' for the eighth successive season. Steve Berryman found the net and 'fancy boy' Mark Boydell raised a few eyebrows by winning his first ever header!

Celebrations continued long into the night as Chris Timms, Jamie Clarke and Nick Timms all picked up awards at the end of season dinner.

Next season looks to be promising for the Cheltenham League side. Not only has Brooks retired but the team has a great spirit and abounds with improving young talent. Roll on September!

An adult six-a-side tournament is being held at the London Road ground on Sunday, May 21. Any teams wishing to enter should call Steve on 07904 189831.
