TV favourites in nail-biting thriller

WITH breath-catching moments and nail-biting suspense, the thriller Dangerous Obsession comes to Malvern this month.

Ian Ogilvy, one of Britain's most suave and dashing actors, best remembered for The Saint, stars alongside one of Britain's favourites Liza Goddard.

While Sally waters her plants in the conservatory of her luxurious Georgian mansion, she is unaware of a man watching her intently through the glass.

As he makes his presence known to her, she realises that he is not a total stranger, and that perhaps her husband has more cause to remember him.

As the visitor locks the door and slips the key into his pocket it becomes chillingly apparent that this is certainly not going to be a social call.

. Other TV credits for Ian include Upstairs Downstairs, I Claudius and Murder She Wrote. He has worked extensively in West End theatre and in the USA his stage work has earned him three Dramalogue awards and a Los Angeles Times Critics Award. Ian now lives and works extensively in the USA and was last seen on the Malvern stage alongside Paul Nicholas in the comedy Snakes and Ladders in 2002.

Liza Goddard is famous for television roles such as Take Three Girls, The Brothers, Yes Honestly and Bergerac, she will be fondly remembered to Malvern audiences for her roles in the Edge of Darkness, Single Spies and The Constant Wife, as well as for her starring roles in Bill Kenwright's hugely successful Oscar Wilde productions, An Ideal Husband, The Importance of being Earnest and Lady Windermere's Fan.

Dangerous Obsession plays in the Festival Theatre, Malvern from Monday to Saturday, May 22 to 27.
