Antony on top at the Farm

Evesham and District Disabled AC

TEN members fished another round of the Spring League on the Boundary Pool at Manor Farm last Sunday.

Antony Icke took top spot with 46.10.0 leaving Ron Williams, Simon Pickering and Rob Campden to take up the minor placings.

Last Thursday, the Summer Evening League, sponsored by Fiesta Cakes of Wickhamford, got under way on the Bottom Lake at Manor Farm.

Wayne Panting topped the weights ahead of Campden, Williams and Wayne Palfrey.

Members are at the same venue tonight for fishing between 6 and 9pm and it's off to Phil's Pool at the Jubilee Lake on Sunday.

The charity contest to raise funds for the Starlight Foundation takes place at Jim's Lake on Sunday, June 11, peg fees £10, pools etc extra.

Evesham Jubilee Society

LAST Saturday's Centenary Trophy celebrating 108 years of society action saw Brian Bennett take top spot in a field of 45 members and guests.

The society's presentation night takes place at headquarters tomorrow evening from 8pm and all members are urged to make every effort to attend.
