Rise in status after title win

EVESHAM Rugby Club's title triumph last season has earned them a place in Midlands Four West (South) next season.

The new Midlands League structure will see the Avon Street side in a 12-strong league that includes many old foes from Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

The section comprises Berkswell and Balsall, Cleobury Mortimer, Droitwich, Dunlop, Keresley, Marconi, Old Halesonians, Old Leamingtonians, Shipston, Spartans and Worcester Wanderers.

Pershore, meanwhile, remain in Midlands Three West (South) where they will again come up against the likes of Stratford, Hereford and Leamington.

Bedworth, Earlsdon, Edwardians, Ledbury, Nuneaton OEs, Old Coventrians, Old Laurentians and Silhillians.

Bredon Star are in a ten-strong Midlands Five West (South) division alongside Alcester, Coventry Technical, Coventry Welsh, Harbury, Rugby St Andrews, Southam, Stoke Old Boys, Upton-on-Severn and Woodrush.
