IN THEIR opening match of the season Bredon's Under-11s overpowered a committed Old Pats attack 47-0.
Joe Carolan opened the scoring for the home team and further tries came from Charlie Farmer, Ben Vincent and Joe Taylor , who stole the ball from the battling visitors before crossing the line.
Soon into the second half, prop Kassra Gerami took the ball from a line-out and drove through the visitors' defence to touch down before Farmer and Taylor added further tries. Fly-half Carolan kicked six out of seven conversions.
Flash floods along the way, made the journey to Dursley more interesting than normal, but the weather abated somewhat for the game.
The Under-14s went ahead with a try from prop Mike Price and Scott Bunch's conversion trickled over the crossbar.
A further try to scrum-half Ed Davies was answered by a Dursley score.
Ben Lees then added another score before half time after which the 31-5 victory was completed courtesy of tries from winger Ali Horne and flanker Ross Attwood both converted by Bunch.
