Lost Pot lose plot!

Tewkesbury Trophies Pool League THERE were crucial encounters at both ends of the table and two teams without a win this season faced each other at Double D's.

Alcoholics Anon, though, were denied their first success when they lost 9-6 to the experienced Cowboys.

At the other end of the table, defen-ding champions Nomads overcame Lost the Pot 11-4 after the teams had been locked all-square at 4-4.

Dan Williams, Mark Aspey and Josh Craze were all undefeated for the winners.

Two new teams also clashed horns and it was Wiffy at Best who continued their good form with an 11-4 victory over Lucky 5.

The Undertakers, who have taken over from the Wheatpieces, had a tough first game against last season's runners-up, Formula One who showed exactly why they are rated so highly in Tewkesbury after a 10-5 win with Russell Grimmett winning three out of three.

The Armies, aided by new signing Neil Rogers, got the better of Renegades 11-4.
