A BOTTOM of the table clash in the Tewkesbury trophies Pool League saw Lucky 5 claim their first points after a thrilling 8-7 success over Alcoholics Anon.

Title contenders Alpina Bush Cutters struggled early on against a resilient Cowboys but three wins for Gary Francis helped them to an 8-7 win.

Defending champions Nomads also had a tough game against Wiffy at Best but showed their true colours in a 10-5 triumph.
