Taylor’s try double

BREDON Rugby Club's Under-11s travelled to Hereford for what proved to be an evenly matched encounter.

The game was played as four quarters with the visitors taking the upper hand before the first break when the forwards provided good fast ball to enable Joe Taylor to score the first try.

The second quarter saw Hereford level matters but visitors responded in style with Ben Vincent scav-enging a loose ball before side-stepping his way over the line.

The third quarter opened with intense activity in the Hereford half before Bredon moved the ball out wide to create an opportunity for Taylor to power past the home defence to score.

Despite Hereford touching down in the fourth quarter, Bredon, for whom Joe Carolan kicked two conversions, emerged as comfort-able 19-12 winners.
