Ambassadors for sport!

FOLLOWING initial application and an interview process held at St Benedicts Sports College, a couple of Young Ambassadors have been appointed ahead of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Cheltenham Spa School Sports Partnership, as part of a National programme run by the Youth Sports Trust, invited students between the ages of 16 and 17 from Cheltenham and North Tewkesbury schools to apply for the role of 2012 Young Ambassador.

Cleeve School's James Wilkins and Rhian Jenkins from Tewkesbury School are now embarking on their role as Young Ambassadors by helping to inspire other young people to become coaches, volunteers, future medal winners and ambassadors in the local community.
