Hit back to earn a draw

Defford & Besford 2,Tewkesbury Tn 2 TOWN fought back from two goals down to earn a point from Sunday's Evesham League clash.

Defford took the lead against the run of play and a second controversial goal left the visitors with plenty to do in the second half.

Tewkesbury's belief didn't waver and it wasn't long before the deficit was halved when Kavanagh headed home.

Leom Holley then levelled direct from a free-kick but Town just couldn't find the winner.

They will look for the same commitment and effort when they host Leonards Stanley in the County Cup on Sunday.
