Town owe it to Lee and Danny

Tewkesbury Tn 2, Kings 1 TEWKESBURY returned to winning ways with a hard-fought home victory.

Kings presented a tricky task but Town took the game by the scruff of the neck Lee Watts gave them the lead after ten minutes.

Kings were unfortunate not to get a goal back before man of the match Kris Kavanagh came close at the other end.

Danny Sollis and Kavanagh controlled the wings well and provide good service but Town were unable to get another until the second half when Darren Preece's corner was connected with brilliantly by Sollis who found the net from 15 yards.

Town then hit the crossbar and had a goal disallowed before gifting Kings what only proved to be a consolation.

The Evesham Sunday League side crashed 8-0 at GFA County Cup semi-finalists Moreton Town.
