Leaders suffer blues against Red Horse!

ONLY six games survived the weather in the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League.

The most significant came in Division One and saw leaders Bretforton Old Boys defeated by Red Horse.

In Division Two, leaders Moreton Town Sunday moved within one win of promotion with victory over Mickleton Rangers thanks to a Chris Mills hat-trick.

Alderton suffered a setback with defeat at home to Inkberrow, for whom Algar and Cooke scored.

Last year's finalists, Eckington, reached the last four of the Bluck Cup with a comfortable 7-1 win over Riverside thanks to goals from Law (2), Bostock (2), Jenkins (2) and Thorne. The winners led 6-1 at half-time.

Broadway United Reserves earned three points at home to Ashton thanks to goals from Buck-land, Evans, Cumberland and Smith.

In Division Four, a Dawe double gave Ambassador Sports the win at Talbot.
