THERE'S a couple of super Sundays on offer at Stratford Racecourse starting this weekend with the annual Birmingham Evening Mail Family Day.
Gates open at 11am for what promises to be a great day both on and of the course.
The National Festival Circus will be performing at 1-15, 2-15 and 3-15 in the Centre Course where there will also be face painters, Astrojet simulator, bouncy castles, falconry static display and much much more.
The first if seven races gets under starter's orders at 2pm with admission to the Centre Course/picnic area just £8 with accompanied children under-16 admitted free.
It's the turn of the ladies on Sunday, July 20 when a fashion competition has £1,000 up for grabs on Ladies Day.
There will be competitions for Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat, Most Fashionable Lady and Best Dressed Couple spotted in the Club and Tattersalls Enclosures.
In addition to the four cash prizes there are also wonderful prizes for competition winners including a Spa Day.
There will also be a free glass of Pimms for the first 200 ladies in the above enclosures.
Gates open at 12 noon and the first of six races starts at 2.10pm.
Admission to the Club Enclosure is £18 and Tattersalls £14.
