Nailing down chance for a fresh career
10:00am Tuesday 26th June 2012 in Business By Mike Pryce
WORCESTER’S Ki Health and Beauty salon in Lowesmoor is launching a new training company for nail technicians and beauty therapists.
The Nail Training Company Worcester is the first of its kind in Worcestershire and has been set up to run both NVQ courses in nail services and beauty therapy together with international product brands to students across the region.
Stacey Leigh, who is the educator/assessor of the company, said: “It may be that retraining in nail and beauty services presents new opportunities to explore something you have always wanted to do.
“Certainly, within the beauty industry, nail enhancements and nail art is a growth area and there are lots of different techniques and disciplines available for people to train in and learn.”
The company offers a range of training for people looking for a new direction, maybe after redundancy or because they have not yet found the right career or job for them.
It has different training packages from product training companies to NVQ levels from City and Guild, all fully accredited, which will allow students a wide variety of future career choices.
Funding opportunities to attend the courses may also be available.
