In order to help you present your best side, we've got a few tips on how to take the best photo of yourself

  1. Be aware of your background. Don't take a photo in front of a pile of dirty washing
  2. Don't get too close to the camera. Aim to have all of your head and shoulders in the frame
  3. Likewise, don't stand too far back. Let our daters see you without squinting
  4. Smile. Relax
  5. Try to have some natural light. Photos taken inside can often look overly yellow
