The Hereford office of Knight Frank handles residential property and farmland for sale in an area covering a large swathe of country either side of the Welsh border in Herefordshire, south Shropshire, Monmouthshire, Powys and as far as the Pembrokeshire coast. We do this in conjunction with our regional offices including Worcester, Cheltenham and Cardiff, and our Country department in London.
Houses in our three principal counties are beginning to sell extremely well. We are again witnessing intense competition and sales being agreed within two weeks of launching to mainly south-east and foreign buyers. Our London offices are reporting annual gains of 7% and it is inevitable we will see even more London buyers coming out to make the most of the extraordinary price differential which has developed. Situations such as this only happen once every 20 years! Selling remains old fashioned hard work, but the rewards are returning for vendors.
Knight Frank Hereford
Hereford is located in the centre of the beautiful county of Herefordshire. It is an ancient cathedral city and important market centre steeped in history. Famous for its white-faced cattle, cider and hops, Hereford is dominated by its superb cathedral dating from the 11th Century. There is a strong sporting culture with many good golf courses; racing at Hereford, Ludlow and Chepstow; and salmon and trout fishing in local rivers including the famous Wye and Usk. Surrounded by wonderful countryside, interspersed with attractive market towns and local art centres, Hereford has an unhurried pace and distinctive character, providing a delightful quality of life.
The Hereford Office completes an important link with its neighbouring offices in Worcester, Cheltenham, Cardiff and Bristol which combine to provide unrivalled knowledge of the Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire markets.
