LOOKING for a new start?
Whether you need a fresh working challenge or are looking at all your employment options, the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair, in association with Bright Assessing, could give you the answers you need.
The event is for all jobseekers looking for a way back into work and will offer a variety of opportunities including vacancies, apprenticeships, academic courses and further education.
A total of 20 exhibitors will be at the historic Guildhall in High Street, Worcester, today, offering help, advice and information to help people find their next career path from 10am until 4pm. About 900 local jobseekers are expected to attend.
Bright Assessing continues to sponsor the event following successful fairs in 2011 and 2012.
The company is an award-winning, excellent graded specialist provider of assessor, verifier and teacher training.
The courses it offers are delivered via online distance learning and the company prides itself in training to the highest standards achievable, not only helping learners qualify but also helping them find employment and develop their career through their new Assessor arm of the business. You get support every step of the way.
The event will also welcome leading national housing and care provider Sanctuary Group and local recruitment agency E-Response Recruitment.
One of the biggest draws of the event lies in bringing together the variety of different organisations making up the employment market.
On the day there will be a range of vacancies in many industry sectors including nursing, health and social care, warehouse, childcare, defence and higher education.
Richard Hencher, Worcester News recruitment manager, said: “We always have a good cross-section of exhibitors at the fair and we always take care to ensure we have what people want, which is what makes the event so popular.
“Finding a job is now an even more difficult and stressful task. It is much easier to search when there is a range of vacancies, courses and opportunities all under one roof.”
