Ryan Wilson is proving to be a real Karate Kid.
The eight-year-old Tewkesbury C of E Primary School pupil beat 28 competitors to come first in his age group in the movement section of a national Karate competition.
The event was held in Gloucester last weekend.
He also came third in a sparring competition at the same event.
Ryan trains three times a week at the Samurai Martial Arts Academy in Gloucester.
