Smiles all round after competition

Tewkesbury author Jill Divine is trying to send a Mexican wave of smiles around the world.

The smile spread further when she visited Milestones School in Gloucester to present Nicole Mighee with her prize in a colouring competition, organised by Jill in connection with her latest book, Miles Smiles.

Nicole was given a Miles Smiles T-shirt and mug, and will receive an autographed copy of the book when it is published. It is the story of a clown who has his smile stolen.

The school will also have a 15-minute play written for it by Jill, which it can use to help raise funds.

A percentage of the royalties from the book will go to the Pied Piper Appeal.
