Former members of the Tewkesbury Boys' Brigade are re-creating their monthly church parade as part of the final celebrations for its 50th anniversary.
On December 3, they will meet at the Annex in Barton Street and, led by an old boys' band specially formed for the anniversary, will march to Holy Trinity Church for a service.
After the service, the parade, which will also include former Girls' Brigade members, will reform and follow their old route down Oldbury Road and Station Street, to dismiss in Rope Walk.
Spokesman Andrew Baldwin said: "It's just what we did on one Sunday a month 50 years ago."
The actual anniversary of their formation is on December 6 and will be marked with a celebratory dinner in the Watson Hall.
It is open to all former members of the Boys' and Girls' Brigade. Anyone who is interested in going but has not yet received an invitation should contact John Lampitt on 01684 295305.
Andrew Baldwin said: "It has been an excellent year, a lot of older members have taken part. We have got a new Girl's Brigade formed at the Abbey and a lot more members of the boys' group.
"Our street collection for brigade funds in October was the best ever and raise £550."
