TEWKESBURY will step back in time this Easter to offer a variety of vintage themed activities for all of the family.

There will be a leisurely vintage trail which can be enjoyed on foot or by car, a Vintage Fair complete with pop up tearoom and for the style conscious, a vintage fashion show.

Visitors are invited to discover Tewkesbury's vintage and antiques trail, a gentle circular walk, to find hidden gems as well as quirky finds, treasurers and collectables available in the town’s antique shops and independent boutiques.

There's an optional leaflet which can be picked up from the Tourist Information Centre at no cost with a suggested route, which also marks out the town's main attractions including the ancient Abbey, and all three town centre museums are all en route.

The highlight of the weekend is the Vintage Fair being held on Saturday in the George Watson Hall.

With more than 20 stalls packed with vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery plus gifts for the home the fair is sure to satisfy even the most avid vintage fan.

Cream teas and homemade cake will be offer from the pop up vintage tearoom decorated with bunting and flags.

The vintage fashion show starts at 2 pm with a catwalk to showcase authentic clothing from a bygone era as well as replica vintage clothing and accessories.

Hairdresser Nigel Humphryson, proprietor of high street hair salon, Rage, will be running vintage hair styling demonstrations so fans can pick up top tips for perfect pin ups as well as essential skills to replicate glamorous vintage waves at home.

Live musical entertainment is being provided by the beautiful vintage belle, Betsy Harmony, singing all of your old time favourites from the big band sounds through to the swinging 60’s.

A free leaflet is available to pick up from the Tourist Information Centre or for details visit VisitTewkesbury.info.
