Teenagers to spend Easter walking Severn

The Easter holidays will mean a long walk for two Tewkesbury School pupils.

George Carter and Chris Monk will be spending two weeks of the holiday walking the course of the Severn from its Welsh source of Plymlimon to Tewkesbury.

The boys, who are members of the Tewkesbury Young Explorers Club, will be sleeping under canvas and fending for themselves during their adventure.

They are raising money for Cancer Research and are already collecting sponsorship and donations from friends at school.
