LOVERS of wonderful wine and fantastic foods will be flocking to Tewkesbury in May as the town celebrates a festival to get the taste buds tingling.

Tewkesbury Food and Drink Festival takes place in Tewkesbury Abbey on Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, and the special guest will be celebrity chef and food columnist Sophie Grigson. Food Glorious Food is the theme of the festival and inside the cookery theatre, there will be demonstrations by Sophie Grigson and Cotswold chef Charlie Pettigrew. As well as this, visitors to the theatre can hunt the Tewkesbury Pudding and witness the crowning of the Young Chef of the Year.
