Youngsters from across Tewkesbury have been recruited for a production of A Christmas Carol.
The well known Dickens play has been specially adapted for the stage and will be presented at the Wheatpieces Community Centre from February 22 to 24.
Director Geoff Guy said; "We wanted it to be a real community event, so we leafleted every house in the Wheatpieces and have got and element of our cast that way.
"It is a very young production with just six adults and around 20 youngsters in the cast."
With such a strong local element they are now trying to encourage as many residents of the estate to come along as possible, although everyone will be welcome wherever they live Tickets at £6, £4 concessions, are available from the Tewkesbury Friar in Wheatpieces and The Music Trade in Church Street.
