Tewkesbury Historical Society could become history, unless more people volunteer to help run it.
Treasurer Nigel Druce resigned recently and now secretary June Fludd has given notice that she will be giving up the post at the AGM on March 26.
So far, despite strong appeals no one has come forward to fill either role and president John Dixon has found himself carry out the duties of research co-ordinator, chairman and treasurer.
The committee has decided that if there are no volunteers by the time of the AGM the meeting will discuss winding up the society and forming a research group instead.
They say that they do not want to see this happen, but can see no alternative.
