High Sheriff’s concert

The High Sheriff of Gloucestershire's Charity Concert is to take place in Tewkesbury Abbey on Saturday, March 10.

It will be performed by the chamber choir and orchestra of the Centre for Performing Arts at the University of the West of England.

They will perform Vivaldi's Gloria and, Bach's Ascensiontide Oratorio and Albinoni's Adagio for organ and strings, beginning at 7pm.

Tickets are £15 and are available from the Abbey Shop, the Centre for Performing Arts on 011732 82067, email cpa@uwe.ac.uk or by post from the High Sheriff's Office, Du Pont Centre, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol BS16 1QD.

All proceeds from the concert will go to the Borough Mayor's Charities and the Abbey Restoration Appeal.
