organisers of the Bishop's Cleeve-based Big Brother Project will hear on Monday whether they have been chosen to represent Gloucestershire in the National Youth Challenge Competition, with a chance of winning £45,000.
It was one of six youth-led projects from across the county presented to a judging panel made up entirely of young people.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Shire Hall on Monday.
The Big Brother Project was devised and organised by members of Bishop's Cleeve Youth Club.
They took members of clubs from across the borough on a week-long camp in Wales, where they had to undergo various tasks and challenges in order to earn food and luxuries.
Youth leader Phil Clapham said: "It was an excellent event, organised entirely by the young people themselves. It started out as them asking if they could have a sleep over in the youth centre, and just grew."
Chris Davis, of the county council youth service is co-ordinating the event. He said: "All the young people involved have been brilliant. It is a real testimony to the talent, ability and creativity of our young people."
