Tewkesbury Rotary Club has set up a fund to help organisations that suffered in last week's floods.
Clubs across the country and internationally has contributed and the local branch held a very successful bucket collection in the High Street.
All the money has been used to set up a fund to provide grants to local community organisations.
Anyone who knows of a not profit organisation which has suffered as a result of the floods should contact Andy Dewar, the Secretary, Rotary Club of Tewkesbury, Magpie Cottage, Wick Lane, Lower Apperley, or ring him on 01452 780527 The club has also had offers of practical help from other branches and anyone looking for assistance or advices should contact the same address.
Details are also available from Zeiss Opticians in the High Street, and Jennings Carpets in Church Street President Andrew Hick said: "Rotary has a tradition of supporting local communities and in times like this the club can play an even bigger role.
"We have access to substantial funds and expertise and are ready to provide help with minimal hassle."
