Denise Taylor of the Tewkesbury based career coaching company, Amazing People has beaten several large national organisations to win a prestigious award.

She won the award for her Gold Career Programme which she developed four years to offers a comprehensive career exploration and guidance service for adults, helping them discover who they are and draw up a short list of jobs that utilises their abilities, skills, interests, personality and long term goals.

She was one of eight winners to be presented with awards at the annual conference of the Institute of Career Guidance.

Denise, who has been working as a career psychologist for over 20 years said: "I was thrilled to get this award.

"It is fantastic to get recognition for the work I do with people who have felt lost and confused.

"It is a great feeling to help someone find a job they love as much as I love mine."
