A COLLISION between a bus and lorry brought chaos to the M5 yesterday.
The incident happened at 2.43pm on the northbound carriageway between junctions nine and 10.
The motorway was closed so that the air ambulance could land to airlift the lorry driver to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham, where his condition was described as serious but not life threatening.
He was the only person injured in the incident and the bus was not carrying passengers.
The motorway was returned to normal by 5pm.
