The refurbishment of the public toilets in Gander Lane, Tewkesbury, will not now be completed until August The refurbishment is being carried out by the borough council before the facilities are taken over by the town council.
They had hoped that the work, which has not yet been started, would be finished in April.
Chris Pike of Tewkesbury Borough Council said it is now expected to start in July.
Once it is finished the town council owned toilets in Saffron Road, behind the Watson Hall will be demolished and the site redeveloped.
