Emergency at sea

Members of the Tewkesbury Maritime Volunteer Service dealt with an emergency at sea at their last meeting.
In order to hone their chart plotting and VHF radio skills they were given the scenario of a vessel running into to difficulty at sea.
After pinpointing the exact position of the incident on their charts they reported it in the correct manner to the coastguards.
Everyone enjoyed the useful and interesting exercise.
