POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in a Churchdown pub to come forward.

The incident occurred at approximately 11.20pm on Saturday May 3 in the Hare and Hounds, Cheltenham Road, when a man was struck with a glass causing a cut to his head.

One man was arrested in connection with the incident.
