A concert in Tewkesbury Abbey raised money to help Alderman Knight School in its aim to become a specialist school in communication and interaction.
Organised by the Rotary Club it featured the Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra.
It gave the young musicians a chance to play in some very special surroundings and the audience some superb music.
The money raised was used to provide interactive white boards for teachers and pupils.
Andrew Turner, who organised the concert said: "This is what Rotary is all about - creating win-win situations for organisations that need our support.
"This year we chose Alderman Knight School as our main charity to benefit from the concert so that its growth and development can continue"
The Rotary Club plans to support the school further during the coming year to help it fulfil its ambition
