A DUCK race, scheduled for last Saturday has been postponed because there was already too much going on in Tewkesbury.
It will now take place on Saturday August 9 from 1pm.
There will be small fair rides, food and entertainment on the Hangings between the former Healings Mill and the lock.
There will be two races, on for children and one for adults Anyone wishing to take part can buy a numbered ticket costing £1 from Sweets and Treats or new Beginnings in the High Street, and this will identify their duck.
They will be dropped into the water from King John's Bridge and caught in a net further downstream.
There will be prizes for the sponsors of the first three ducks home in both races.
All proceeds will go towards this year's Water Festival in September.
