TEWKESBURY and District Twinning Association celebrated its links with Miesbach in Bavaria with a traditional Oktoberfest last week. It took place in Apperley Village Hall and entertainment was provid-ed by Barry Smit and his Bavarian Band. Organisations including the town band, Scouts, Morris dancers, firemen and Tewkesbury school have made visits to Miesbach. The association celebrated its 25th anniversary last August.
