what your talking about is general opinion and from my own opinion iv always been a fan of his talent and music, his personal life was a media frenzy, but he was never convicted of any crimes, so believe what you choose that is your choice. By the way logik i hope when you slip of the mortal coil no one makes such a callous remark about your passing.

Acutally..im a big fan of his..

My **** was pointed at the millions around the world who HATED him..now love him? past few year's all i heard was how bad he was..and you can guess what else was said with his past..

Now every one is acting if they loved him from day 1..makes you sick

And please..read before you comment..never made a negative comment towards him did i

AdamL "you did make the comment "never New a child rapist would Be so popular" which did seem somewhat derogatory, so in fact i did read your comment before making my own, but accept my apologies if i offended you. Anyway you’re a fan i am a fan of someone who was a legend of pop, his personal life aside. So let’s leave it at that hey.

i think the one thing this will highlight is how so called fame ruins the lives of the young he was a child genius never grew up probably never given the time.his later years craziness was probably more insecurities love him or hate him what is that all about you have to respect his impact on music as well as young peoples lives. i did not know him so cannot give a love/hate opinion what i can say is R.I.P. Michael my thoughts are with your family.

You are quite right MtStJohns, he was indeed not convicted of anything, however we were not talking of only one incident/allegation were we, there were very many.

To be honest I was already sick of the wailing by 'fans' when this story broke last night and this morning even more so - to those I would say 'get a life'.

My other thought on this for today was towards the Government - what an excellent day to 'bury' some bad news.

That's it, I'll let you all get back to your wailing.

Logik could i just say the following, MJ was a historic figure that people will measure music and the industry by. He has sold more single products than any other artist and no one can argue with that fact, his personal life aside or any allegations made against him will never remove the fact that MJ is a legend and one of the best entertainers of all time! and by the way i agree that some people have over reacted, but as a fan i grew up with his music and enjoyed it massively, he contributed hugely to the world of music and entertainment, i wonder what you’ve contributed apart from snide comments on a news story that apparently you don’t care about. Why not just let people who are fans of MJ have there say, its not all about wailing its about remembering someone who had a distinct impression, good or bad on a huge proportion of the world!and youv done what?!

"its not all about wailing its about remembering someone who had a distinct impression, good or bad on a huge proportion of the world!and youv done what?!"

Well I've got up your nose for a start. Anyway, this is not about me is it?

"Why not just let people who are fans of MJ have there say"

In what way have I prevented anyone in doing so?

Perhaps you should just take it in the chin and realise that not everyone in this world was infatuated with MJ. I am just as entitled to my view as you are yours. Today's news, tomorrows chip paper.

Michael has passed away
Ohh what a sad, sad day
Michael has passed away

He was the king of Pop
and that will never stop
Oh he was the king of Pop

The paramedics came for his rescue
but they were too late
now his time has came
to enter either heaven or hell’s gate
the paramedics were too late

My name is John
and cant believe
the last time i saw him alive
was the last time i would see him alive again
My name is John and Michael is gone
Ohhh how sad
Ohhh how bad

I’m sorry for the tortured life he had
And his family must not be glad
I say my prayers for Michael
with deepest sympathy
ohh no one knows the grief
that is upon me

I am speechless
All I can say
Is this has been a shocking day
And nothing no one will ever take his place
Dear Michael, king of Pop,
forever sing with grace

logik you ****,

I's all about paying respect to the person who has passed. I bet you said the same when Diana died if you can't write anything nice don't bother " who cares " I had seen this fantastic entertainer 3 times in concert and it was fantastic, RIP Michael x

So what, if you don't like it tough. It's a cold hard world we live in. The only people who get my sympathies are his family.

This ends now.
At the end of the day somebody has died. Many WN readers may not have liked him for whatever reason, but a certain degree of respect should still be paid. If you have nothing decent to say, say nothing at all.
Thank you.

When I was 14 you ere in love with David,Donny or michael

My 15 year old daughter is upset because the first person to ever scare her has died (she accidentally watched the thriler video at 18 months)
"he was never my favourite but he has always been there- we have all said the same thing today - how can Michael Jackson be dead!"

Better than Bach, Beethoven or the Beatles! The new Mozart! A cultural icon! A King of presentation ... looked really kinky ... cool, Man ... what a pity he couldn't actually sing.
