Medieval fun in Tewkesbury this weekend

TEWKESBURY youngsters are being encouraged to come along and have fun in a medieval theme with the town’s Heritage Centre team this weekend.

This Saturday, July 4 the team at Out of the Hat will be helping local children bring their imagination to life with a range of craft events in celebration of the forthcoming Tewkesbury Medieval Festival.

Visitors can have a go at making their own crown, sword or coat of arms, perhaps a beautiful coronet hat for the girls, or a medieval mask to go out in disguise for the boys.

The event takes place from 11am to 3pm on a drop-in basis, and normal admission charges apply.
