POLICE investigating the theft of a black transit van which contained three vintage Vespa motor scooters from a property at Long Green, Forthampton, are appealing for witnesses.
The theft took place overnight on Saturday, September 30.
The haul included the Vespa scooters which were a sky-blue 90; a red 175 and a sky blue 175.
In addition to the motor scooters, two boxes of Vespa spares were stolen.
Witnesses who may have seen the high-sided black van - described as `old and quite tatty' - being moved can call police on 08457 444 888, quoting incident number 356S/011006.
