Cathedral Piano Concert “Mirrors of Light” will showcase the world premier of “Prayer” by composer Rosemary Duxbury

On Saturday, June 23 at 7.30pm in the Chapter House of Gloucester Cathedral Swiss concert pianist Patricia Siffert celebrates the music of contemporary British composer Rosemary Duxbury.

The recital will include the new piano sonata “Mirrors of Light 1” and a world premiere of “Prayer”.

Rosemary Duxbury is a composer writing music in the classical style “to touch the heart and inspire the soul”. Her music is performed and broadcast internationally. This concert is part of a tour featuring her latest piano music and the launch of her new CD “Mirrors of Light”.

There will be opportunity to meet the performer and composer after the concert.
