A former nurse and mother of five is the latest weapon in the fight against crime and disorder in Tewkesbury.
Debbie Lipinski, 40, has joined the crime and disorder team as a Police Community Support Officer.
Based at the town's police station her duties will include foot and car patrols and crime prevention initiatives. She will also go out with the mobile police station.
She is one of seven PCSOs working in the Tewkesbury Inspector Neighbourhood area.
She said: "I really enjoy working with people and being out and about in the town getting to know the residents. I am hoping to make a bond with the people here so we can talk to each other and I can find out what concerns they have and do something to improve things."
