Wheatpieces Community Centre in Tewkesbury is opening its doors and inviting families to an Open Day on Sat 30 June from 12.30 pm. Centre manager, Adam Fendt says "Its a chance for the community to meet all our clubs and groups, to see what goes on as well as view our facilities". There will be free family fun activities on offer including a bouncy castle and facepainting as well as demonstrations from Zumba, the Happy Dog Training Company and White Tiger Taekwondo Club. Refreshments will be served and there will be a chance to pick up handmade crafts and jewellery. Raffle prizes include one month's free martial arts training for either a child or adult and 10 free Zumba classes.
