THE waterside in Upton gave Venice a run for its money as an authentic Italian market came to town.
Italia in Piazza visited on Friday, bringing more than a dozen stalls selling traditional Italian favourites including olive oils, prosciutto and salami.
Councillor Phil Grove, portfolio holder for economic development at Malvern Hills District Council, was delighted to welcome market owner Simon Faro and his stallholders to town. “Markets add an extra dimension to a town’s vibrancy, especially on a weekday,” he said.

But what "on a weekday" really means is that the majority who would be most likely to attend and spend, can't!
I would be interested to hear if Mr. Faro felt the event was successful enough from a financial aspect to warrant a return...hopefully at a weekend next time please.
