First published in News

A WORCESTERSHIRE children’s centre held a family fun day to celebrate its first anniversary.

Riverboats Children’s Centre in Upton invited the community to take part in a range of free activities including face painting, picnics and a bouncy castle.

There were also visits from a fire engine and the library service’s mascot Bookstart Bear, and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses including Clives Fruit Farm and The Inn at Welland.

Manager Sarah Walton said: “It was great to see families from across the whole community having such fun.”
