A BRIC-a-brac sale at Upton Baptist Church has raised almost £2,000.
The event itself raised £1,206 and, because organiser Bob Read is a Barclays pensioner, the bank is providing match-funding of a further £750.
Mr Read thanked Barclays and everyone who supported the event.
Proceeds will go to the church’s building fund.
