POLICE are urging Redmarley residents to look at CCTV images of two men they would like to identify following a burglary in Hereford as they are linking it to previous burglaries in the village.

Two men were captured on camera inside the property, where an elderly woman was present while thieves stole money on Monday, October 8.

Police are connecting this burglary with an attempted distraction burglary in Redmarley on Thursday, September 27.

In that incident, neighbours of an elderly woman in Playley Green intervened when two men tried to gain access to her home.

Police also suspect links with similar incidents in the Redmarley area in May and August 2008.

Detective Sergeant Tim Dugmore said: “We need to identify the men in the CCTV images.

“If you know who they are then please call us as soon as possible.”
