THE girlfriend of rock star Bryan Ferry’s son has had her bail extended by police investigating a 'witness nobbling' allegation brought in connection with a robbery that allegedly happened during a meeting of the Heythrop fox hunt, near Stow.
Otis Ferry's girlfriend Francesca Nimmo, 22 - along with 53-year-old Adrian Simpson and a third person - had their bail extended until tomorrow when they must report back to police to learn if they will be charged.
Otis Ferry, 26, of Eaton Mascott, Shropshire and John Deutsch, 55, of Ebrington Farm, Chipping Campden are due to appear at Gloucester Crown Court tomorrow for a progress hearing of the case against them.
Ferry and Deutsch are charged with robbing a hunt monitor of a camera and assaulting her during the Heythrop Hunt meeting.
Ferry, joint master of the South Shropshire Hunt, is also accused of perverting the course of justice by telling his former groom, David Hodgkiss, not to give evidence against him when he was due to stand trial on the robbery and assault charges at the court last September.
The trial was aborted when the 'witness nobbling' allegations were made and Ferry subsequently spent four months in custody before being bailed to await trial.
Mr Simpson is the Countryside Alliance ‘s Welsh regional director.
