COTSWOLD District Council is one of only two local authorities in Gloucestershire who have signed up to 10:10, a national drive to reduce Britain’s carbon footprint and make big savings on running costs.
The campaign will see Britons asked to make a 10 per cent cut in their carbon emissions during 2010. To get involved, telephone Kirsty Merritt, the council’s carbon management and climate change officer, on 01285 623434.
