Staff at Travis Perkins, in Bredon Road, Tewkesbury are celebrating, after being named branch of the year.

Their award comes in the general merchant division of the group chief executive's awards.

It saw of competition in the finals from branches in Rickmansworth, Wilmslow and Wellingborough to be declared over winner.

Divisional Chairman Joe Mescal said; "I am delighted to be presenting this award to Tewkesbury.

"My task to select an overall winner was not an easy one, but the Tewkesbury branch came out on top because of its high standards across the board.

"The teamwork displayed by the Tewkesbury branch was exceptional."

Branch manager Sean Watson said: "To have been singled out from the hundreds of other branches across the UK is a fantastic achievement for us."
